Our Tile-Basin® product is a 100% waterproof unit. We coat the shower base with our elastomeric membrane, ShowerSeal®. The ShowerSeal® acts as a second waterproof layer, and primer for thin-set. This is our use of the product. We suggest calling your local paint professional for their expertise in regards to painting over the membrane.
HOW MUCH COVERAGE DOES THE LIQUID LINEAR PROVIDE?
1 gallon of ShowerSeal® Liquid Liner will provide 50 square feet of monolithic coverage. View ▸

Depending on your shower installation and shower size, additional waterproofing may need to be purchased with our ShowerSlope™ Kits.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR SHOWERSEAL® LIQUID LINER TO CURE?
This will depend on the temperature at the time of installation, but usually within 30 to 50 minutes of dry time is required before tiling and flood testing can be preformed after 12 hours of dry time. Generally once the ShowerSeal® liquid Liner has turned "dark green" it is considered dry. Do not use ShowerSeal® Liquid Liner below 40° F (4° C); do not allow membrane or substrate to be below 40° F (4° C) for the first 72 hours after application. Cool and wet weather may delay the set times of the ShowerSeal® Liquid Liner membrane.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF SHOWERSEAL® LIQUID LINER?
One year from manufacturing in sealed original container, when properly stored at room temperature, off the ground in a controlled, dry, heated area.
CAN YOU PAINT OVER SHOWERSEAL® POLYURETHANE SEALANT?
Yes you can! ShowerSeal® Polyurethane Sealant has been specifically developed for use as a waterproofing sealant in the construction of bathroom showers and exterior decks. Due to its exceptional waterproof properties, it can be used to seal cracks and joints above and below the waterline. This VOC compliant, very versatile product has excellent adhesion to PVC, CBU, FRP, plywood, and most plastics and composites found in the construction industry.

KBRS ShowerSeal® Gauging Fabric is a 100% Polyester stitch-bonded fabric which meets the following ASTM Standards: ASTM D5034, ASTM D3787 and ASTM D1777.
HOW DO YOU PREPARE AN AREA FOR SHOWERSEAL® GAUGING FABRIC?
Joints, Cracks and Protrusions: Pre-fill all substrate cracks, cold and control joints with modified thin-set or ShowerSeal® Polyurethane Sealant (or equal).
HOW DO YOU USE THE SHOWERSEAL® GAUGING FABRIC IN AN INSTALLATION?
Apply first wet coat of KBRS ShowerSeal® Liquid Liner (or equal) waterproofing to the surface of all joints and seams using a roller or brush. Embed KBRS ShowerSeal® Gauging Fabric into first wet coat and immediately apply a second wet coat of ShowerSeal® Liquid Liner waterproofing ensuring to completely wet-out the fabric (no white fabric should be visible once properly wetted).

Custom product(s) or special orders are NOT eligible for return, credit or refund at any time; unless the product is received defective or the return is a direct result of a KBRS, Inc. error. Item(s) must be returned in original packaging and return shipping must be paid by you, it is strongly recommended you insure your return package as KBRS will not be able to refund an item that arrives damaged and is not in re-stockable condition.

DOES KBRS PROVIDE RETURN SHIPPING LABELS
Currently we do not provide shipping labels to have our products returned to us. Customers are required to return their products with the shipper of their choice. It is also recommended you insure your returned items, to protect form damages that may occur from shipping. KBRS will not be able to offer refunds on products that are returned damaged. All returns must be sent back to the warehouse in re-stockable conditions.
IF ALL MY PACKAGES DO NOT ARRIVE WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Since all of your products are packaged separately, it is common for items to get separated in the shipping process. Usually the missing product will arrive the next business day. If the product does not arrive by the end of the next business day, please contact us for a complete resolution.
